Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the greatest and most rich Reggae artists. He was a member of Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani released his debut album, Like Father Like Son in 1996. The album was it was followed with Dear Dad", which hit the top spot in charts in the British reggae charts. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell from Fugees on Avenue in 1997. The song was a hugely successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared in Midem (international music festival) during its time at Miami in the very first time. Marley played a live set at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley was engaged in a bidding war. In 1997, she was signed to Gee Street/V2 Records, and also completed a collaborative project together with P.M. Dawn on the single Gotta To Movin On Up.
